A mini review of Jennifer Lawrence's most recet movie, Silver Linings Playbook is featured. Chapter 16 of Catching Fire is analyzed where we are introduced to more tributes such as Beetee and Wiress. We ask ourselves if tributes that have modified their body through surgeries are allowed enter the arena in that state, or is that considered an unfair advantage? A review of the new iOS verison of Hunger Games Adventures video game is featured. We wrap up the show with a song, some listener emails and a new twist to the book recommendations.
Monday, September 17, 2012 at 10:18AM We announce the casting of Beetee and a contest from Lionsgate. We dicuss all the new paparazzi photos of the cast members in costume. We analyze Chapter 7 of Catching Fire and some questions arise. Would Katniss have ended up with Gale if she wasn't entered in the Hunger Games? What if Katniss died in the Hunger Games? If she did, would Peeta have resorted to drinking like Haymitch? If she did, would there have been an uprising? We feature a Fun. song and relate it to the Games. In our What if... segment we discuss how the story and fan demographics would be different if Katniss was a boy.
